Differential pressure measurement technology is still an indispensable measuring method for to measure all possible fluids in a wide variety of applications.

One of the main advantages of differential pressure measuring technology is that it is a standardized measuring procedure (ISO 5167), so that during the operation you can check all measured values for plausibility.

Measuring system “autarkon” with compact orifice

Application:

The measuring system “autarkon” -consisting of compact orifice, transmitter and calculator- is mainly used for energy and flow measurements with steam, technical gases and liquids such as thermal oil and glycol/water mixtures for pressure ratings up to PN40.

Application examples are energy measurements for steam and liquids in production companies within the framework of the energy management system according to ISO 50003 in and emissions trading.      

The same applies to the balancing and cost allocation of energy flows to the manufactured products.

MEASURING SYSTEM “AUTARKON” WITH  STANDARDIZED DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL DEVICES

Application:

The measuring system “autarkon”, consisting of pressure differential device according to ISO 5156 (orifice plate, ISA 1932 nozzle, Venturi nozzle or Venturi tube) dp-transmitter and flow computer – is mainly used for steam custody measurements between 2 companies, where the focus is on legal security and accuracy, or also for high pressure applications in power plants for pressure stages up to PN160 and temperatures up to 550°C.

Measuring system “autarkon” with Venturitube

Application:

The measuring system “autarkon” – consisting of a compact Venturi-tube, dp-transmitter and flow computer – is mainly used for energy and flow measurements with steam, technical gases and liquids such as thermal oil and glycol/water mixtures for pressure stages up to PN40. It is characterised by the fact that only very short inlet and outlet distances are required and the permanent pressure loss is very low. It is used in large compressed air systems, e.g. to correctly bill the compressed air supplied between the energy service provider and the plant, or as an energy measurement for steam and liquids in production companies as part of the energy management system according to ISO 50003 and emissions trading.

Measuring system “autarkon” with crossed probe

Application:

The measuring system “autarkon” – consisting of crossed probe, transmitter and flow computer – is mainly used for approved heat and cold measurements (water), as well as for thermal oil and glycol/water mixtures for pressure ratings up to PN 40.

Application examples are energy measurements according to MID at municipal utilities, energy suppliers and production companies within the framework of the energy management system according to ISO 50003 and emissions trading

Measuring system “oriflow” with compact orifice​

Application:

The “oriflow” measuring system, consisting of a compact orifice and an attached transmitter, is mainly used to measure the flow of aggressive liquids, gases and vapours in the process industry. Application examples are flow measurements for pressures up to 320 bar and temperatures up to 400°C for process control (safety circuits) or for balancing in chemical/petrochemical process engineering.
